Aaron was diagnosed 5 years ago with polycystic kidney disease. This past December he was put on the active waiting list for a kidney transplant. His wife has been tested and medically cleared to be a donor in case he needs a kidney before one is available on the waiting list. We are going to watch his kidney function levels and hopefully it will wait till the summer to do the transplant. As of December, he was down to 16% kidney function and it varies slightly but we will have a current level in mid-March.
Aaron is a father of four gorgeous children and a devoted husband. He has been part of the volunteer fire department since high school. I wish the best for him and his family.
