Sketchbooks with pencil tie...

These are my newest creations. I am trying to set my shop apart from everyone else by offering something a bit different. I love these new sketchbooks! They have a place to secure your favorite pen or pencil. Look for more in the future...

My new work buddies...

These are the best! Let me introduce you to Alistar & Tarragon... and the little bug's name is well, Bug! I love these two. They came to me from Blueberry Days' Etsy shop. I am so glad to have adopted them because it is nice to have company while I am browsing Etsy or hanging out in the virtual labs. Soon we will be moving into our new home they will be at their permanent home on my kitchen window sill. Well see if they like it there... if not they'll end up right back here on my lappy while I do all my Etsy business :)

Thank you Blueberry Days!

This week...

This week has been crazy. We are trying to move little bits at a time. The baby has been sick. I have been spending enormous amounts of time in the virtual labs at Etsy in between setting up new phone service, changes of address, etc.

So I did get a bit of work done this week. I can't wait to photo these journals & get them listed. I've made a spot in the sketchbooks to tie your favorite writing utensil right to your book with a pretty satin ribbon! I also have a great journal with pockets that I'll be posting soon. I should space out my listings, but I get so jazzed about getting them up on my site I end up posting them all at midnight on a weekend. Not the best time to list... but o well! It feels good to be getting back into the routine.

NEW HOME! I am soooo excited!

We are so absolutely fortunate! I don't know how we managed this, but we are renting a farmhouse and pottery studio in the country, and maybe if everything works out we may purchase this wonderful home!

If I ever had a reason to be motivated, this would be it! My husband can get back to creating. Before we moved to Wisconsin 3 years ago we had a small studio and always dreamed of having a place where we can create & share our love of all handmade.

We will be out of the dinky cookie cutter apartments, and Each of the three girls will have their own rooms. They will have their own bathrooms too... not looking forward to cleaning. But, I'd rather have more to clean than being stuck in this little space :)

If that wasn't enough... I have a whole loft space for my studio!!! It is lined with windows so I will always be kissed by beautiful sunlight, which I miss so much being in this apartment. I am already thinking of the wonderful craft nights I will be able to host. I love getting people together to create, show-off, or just talk & drink tea!

13 days & counting!
